We are a congregation of about 30 members, made up of a range of ages but mostly young families. Our worship style is contemporary and hopefully engaging for God and those who attend. As a church our vision is to be an evangelical church in the area, this means we enjoy the saving grace of Jesus, and worship God almighty in the power of the Holy Spirit.
As an evangelical church the bible is read and taught from every week. All our services are held at The Steiner Academy, Frome.
Creche - always at the back of the all. So parents of little ones can still join in.
Sunday School - after a time of worship together the children leave us for their own groups and games.
Youth - even later in the service the youth will leave for their discussion based bible study, prayer and biscuits
As adults we sing, pray, listen, share, discuss, fellowship
Through the Week
We meet every Sunday in the morning.
There is an opportunity to meet to pray every Tuesday evening, all the evenings have a different flavour. Bible study, mens groups, church meeting, celebration, and prophecy.
Ladies meet 3rd Thursday of each month.
Prayer triplets - we understand that getting everyone together in one place mid week in impractical for young families so we encourage people into prayer triplets, this is a slightly more dynamic way of getting together, at a mutually convenient time in the week.
Our Deacons are made up of Ann Burt, Andrew Williamson and Tim Buckeridge
History of FBC
The history of Badcox Baptist Church lists six Baptist churches that used to be in Frome. There are three that were open in living memory and the buildings are still there if you want to go and look at them. Naish’s Lane, Badcox Lane, and Shepherds Barton.
