On Sunday 22nd January guest worship leader Geraint Tucker will be with us.

Hi everyone, Nick has invited me to come and lead worship in a few weeks’ time so asked me to introduce myself here. I go to All Saints Church in the Weston area of Bath and lead worship there once or twice a month. I’ve been a Christian for about 15 years and have long been involved in the worship group at both of the churches I’ve attended, but have only started leading worship in the last few years. Professionally I’m a sports journalist, the sports editor of the Somerset Standard. Outside of work, I enjoy running (although out of action with ankle problems at the moment) and am getting married in July! Looking forward to meeting you all and joining you in worship on January 22nd. Most people outside of work know me as Gez rather than Geraint, but I’m happy with either!

Paul Skelton from Healing on the Streets in Bath will be ministering over four Thursday evenings, instead of our regularly Celebrations/Prophecy mid week house groups

An opportunity to experience God at work and build your faith. Please feel free to invite others to come as well or bring someone who needs healing!

Happy New Year from FBC! Sunday services will resume as normal this Sunday 8th January 2012, 10.30am at Frome Community College.

This Sunday 18th December is our Christmas Carol Service, please join us at 4-5pm for traditional Carols.

Mince pies and mulled wine will be served afterwards.

Join us on Monday 12th December at 6pm at 14 Leversedge Rd for Christmas Carol singing around the streets. We will be handing out leaflets to promote our Christmas Carol Service on 18th December.

There will be mulled wine and mince pies afterwards, so please come along and have some fun in Jesus name!

Christmas is coming and at Frome Baptist Church we will be holding some special services.

Sunday 18th December, 2011 at Frome Community College, G Block
10.30am – Family Celebration.
4pm to 5pm – Christmas Carol Service. Mince pies and mulled wine will be served afterwards.

Christmas Day at Beckington Baptist Church (off Frome Rd, just past Stubbs Lane)
10-11am – Christmas Day Family Celebration.

The new ladies group meeting next on Monday 9th January 2012 at 8pm. We have chosen Friends Rediscovered a DVD by Jeff Lucas, looking at the priceless gift of friendship, through the life and relationships of the apostle Paul. Email us for more details.

A social walk this Sunday afternoon (30th Oct). Either meet at 24 chestnut close, BA11 2TJ @ 2pm, or Great Elm pond @ 2.15 or if you would rather not walk meet us at the playground in Watley 3pm. the walk is about 30 mins each way, it will probably be muddy and not suitable for pushchairs.
